Extra Notes

• Tipping is not required and if you choose to do so a couple pounds is generally sufficient. 

• Servers will not rush you out of a restaurant or your table, you will most likely need to flag them down and let them know when you are ready for the check. 

• If paying by card, make sure that the back of your card is signed and matches your ID. They WILL take your card and cut it up if it’s not signed. 

• Never pay in dollars when using your credit card, you will essentially be charged twice. 

• You are going in peak tourist time. It will be busy. Scottish people are some of the nicest in the world and incredibly patient with tourists generally. Please be kind and respectful back to them.
